I did find how to plug in an external antenna. It is VERY simple. All you have to do is take the keyboard out by removing that little black strip below the power button. There are two screws that you undo and remove the keyboard. The card you are looking at is the graphics card. To the upper left corner of the card you will see a black plastic cover held in with one screw. Take out the screw, and lift the cover off - it will pop off - mine flew across the room - it was fine. DON'T TOUCH THE CARD. Toshiba says that oils from your hands can damage the transmitters. You can see the antenna connectors clearly labeled primary and secondary. Very easy.
